Never Cease to Create.
The creation of art is a uniquely human endeavor. To lose this would be to lose an important part of what it is to be human.
Adam, along with his fellow Novanians, found such a fate under the oppressive control of artificial intelligence. For centuries, his people’s material needs were met, but the needs of their souls were ignored. They had food but no avenues to express themselves through artwork, shelter but no form of entertainment, and clothing but no personal relationships.
With today marking the birthday of Franklin D. Roosevelt, we remember his appreciation for the arts with his above quote.
Just as Roosevelt led his country through hard times including the ‘Great Depression’ and WWII, Adam, in Book II: Homeland Rescued, will lead his people towards a better, more-fulfilling future. He will use his knowledge about past human civilizations, learned via Novananet and the Key to the Wind, to inspire and lead the Novanians enslaved to humanoid robots in a bloodless revolution –by which they will seize individual freedoms and learn, create, explore, and enjoy the treasures of liberty.
Human history is told through all forms of art. We must continue to tell our story through artistic expression into the future.
