The poetry of love
Tomorrow, couples all over the world will celebrate Valentine’s Day, a day for celebrating the emotion felt by humans of all walks of life. Since the beginning, humans have explored this emotion through various forms of artistic expression.
One of the greatest writers to ever use the English language, William Shakespeare, mastered the art of writing about love. Whether he was writing comedies, histories, tragedies, or sonnets, Shakespeare almost always touched upon the theme of love. Across his complete works — including 39 plays and 154 sonnets — the word “love” appears 2,191 times.
The beautiful line above from Romeo and Juliet reminds us of the love affair shared by Adam and his wife, Tariana. Adam knew it was love at first sight, and their love stood the test of time, enduring through various struggles in Adam’s career. With time, their love grew sweeter, aging like a fine wine. Through thick and thin, they remained loyal to one another, honoring their original vows and those made during their vow renewal in Adam in Taoland.
Their love will continue to endure through some of life’s greatest challenges in Book II, Homeland Rescued and Book III, Never Forgotten.
We hope our readers will be inspired by their love story and take the lessons in our novels to heart, learning to love unconditionally and practice selflessness with their partners and families
